Admission Procedure


Below is a checklist of the materials needed to complete the application process. Forms can be obtained from the Urban Bible College admissions office or downloaded from this section.
 
  1. Admissions Application -- Mail this form to Urban Bible College along with a $25 Application Fee (non-refundable). Make check payable to Urban Bible College .
  2. Student Essay/ Personal Testimony -- Write a 1-2 page testimony describing your Christian experience and why you want to attend Urban Bible College. Mail this to Urban Bible College.
  3. Transcript Request Form(s) -- Send to all colleges you have attended. If you have attended college previously, there is no need to include a high school transcript. If applicant did not finish high school, proof of GED or a recognized home school diploma is required.
  4. A recent photograph of yourself. Please include this with your admissions application.
  5. Minister's Reference Form -- Ask your senior pastor or another pastor on staff (to whom you are not related) in your church to fill out this form and mail it to the school.
  6. General Reference Form -- Ask a friend or co-worker (not family) to fill out this form and mail it to the school.
  7. Call to schedule an Admission Interview -- 414-931-6670.
  8. Take the English placement exam.

Those students who enroll in the Diploma in Urban Ministry program of study do not need to submit a transcript and do not need to take the English placement exam. Diploma Program Checklist

Admission Deadlines
Students may begin taking classes in the fall, spring, or summer semesters. The admission paper work must be completed at least one month prior to the start of the semester the student wishes to begin taking classes. If the paper work is not completed, the student may enroll for classes as a visiting student.
