Accreditation, Associations, Endorsements
The General Council of the
Assemblies of God has endorsed Urban Bible College as a District School of Ministry in the Wisconsin-Northern Michigan District.
Global University in Springfield, Missouri has approved Urban Bible College as a study group center. Students taking Global University courses receive their grades, college credits, and transcripts from Global University, an institution fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the distance Education and Training Council. These credits are widely transferable to four-year institutions, however, as with all institutions, it is best to verify a specific institution accepts Global University credits if a student plans on transferring credits.
Urban Bible College is striving to meet the requirements to gain professional endorsements and/or accreditations with additional organizations. The school is currently working to meet the requirements for endorsement with The Alliance for Assemblies of God Higher Education, which is a division of the General Council of the Assemblies of God, as well as the Association for Biblical Higher Education, which is a participating member of the Council on Higher Education Accreditations (CHEA). The school is also in the process of gaining endorsement from the federal government to accept international students.
